James Halliday Review

James Halliday Review

“The first sign of development in colour, and in flavour/aroma. Very good fruit depth, red cherry, blueberry, plum; but while the fruit is softening, so are the secondary characters developing.”

-James Halliday 2020 Wine Companion

Swinburn Vineyard

Bob Swinburns Pinot Noir vineyard was planted in 1989 in a patch of rich Wallington limestone soil. The first vineyard planted on this part of the Bellarine. I have been making wine from this vineyard since its first crop in 1992.  This is the first single-vineyard wine to come from this site.
